Video Project Plan

Here is a plan for my video project about cloud gaming: 


What is your final idea? Please explain in two sentences your chosen video and the theme/your idea?

I'm creating an Explainer Video about cloud gaming. 

● Considering the form, What are the location or locations of your video shoot?

home/library/Park

● How long do you expect your video to be?

The video will be 3-5 minutes long.

● How are you filming your footage? Please state the phone or camera model you will be using

I'll will be using a Canon XA70 Video Camera. 

● What extra equipment will you be using?

I'll be using Tripod, and also considering a Neewer CN160 LED Light or Apeture HR672C Bi-Colour LED Light, 5-in-1 Reflector Kit for bouncing and absorbing light, and Rode Wireless Go Digital Wireless Mic Kit

● What is the plan of your time and how much you will need to spend on this?

To complete a project I'll spend about 10hrs on shooting and editing.

● What do you imagine the final video style and content will look like?

I'll be an explainer video that use dynamic transitions background music, voiceover narration, and sound effects.

● Have you considered the Titles and credits and any additional subtitles

needed? Explain how your ideas here

There'll be a title and credits at the end of the video.

● Shooting and reshooting will need to be done? Have you factored in what you will do if you need additional footage?

First, I need to learn how to use the equipment, and because of lack of experience, I think I will need to reshot many shots and I will reserve some extra time for this. 

● What will you be editing on, and how long do you expect this to take? Write down any other thoughts or comments related to your plan in your blog post.

I'll use Clip Champ to keep it easy and simple or DaVinci Resolve as it offers more editing options. Also, I need to find copyright free background music and sounds. I expect this will take me around 3 hours.


Planning is crucial, I need appropriate equipment for audio recording and shooting. I'm filming by myself so I need a tripod, so I could use a pc while recording. Also, lighting may be challenging and if the light setup will be wrong I'll need to reshoot a scene.
